Dr. Meriweather is a licensed Health Psychologist who has been practicing psychology in Missouri
for 24 years. She is currently serving as an Outpatient Therapy Trainer and Psychology Trainee
Supervisor at Compass Health Network. Dr. Meriweather has extensive educational and clinical
experience in the areas of assessment, evaluation, consultation and treatment across the life
span. She has provided grief counseling and facilitated grief groups throughout her work. It was
Dr. Meriweather’s recognition that unresolved grief is handled very differently across individuals
that drew her to the field of psychology. This recent pandemic has highlighted the need to support
those experiencing ambiguous grief.
