The Middle School Program was designed to discuss nutrition, hygiene, and stress on an adolescent level.  Cavities are the #1 preventable disease in children, and nutrition and hygiene play a huge roll in their prevention. It has been reported that kids as young as 12 vape.  To prevent this luring pandemic – our team visits schools and presents an educational PowerPoint and has open conversations to provide nutrition and hygiene tips and other ways to combat stress.

Missouri Preventive
services Program

The Missouri PSP Program is designed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. This program allows dental offices within communities to team up with local school districts to provide free exams and apply fluoride varnish to students. This is a completely free program provided by the state and free screenings provided by Compass Health Network staff. The Preventive Services Program is a great referral source for the school districts and families serviced, so we can better care for the children in our communities.

GERIATRIC PROGRAMS

Nursing Home Program

The Nursing Home Program was designed to arm nursing home staff with education and skills needed to provide daily oral care to prevent oral disease. A Registered Dental Hygienist will visit with the staff, present an educational PowerPoint including how to care for residents’ natural teeth and gums along with how to handle and care for removable partials and dentures. They review with hand over hand skills until the staff is comfortable. Common oral conditions and problems are discussed along with the opportunity for questions.
